Video Visitation from Home

The hours for Video Visitation from Home is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Eastern Standard Time).

Video Visitation at the Chatham County Detention Center is now available from a home computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone. All the visiting party needs is an internet connection, a system that runs on either Microsoft Windows XP or greater or Android 4.0.3 or greater and a webcam or front facing camera and headset.

There is a simple setup using the Get Started link at www.mticonnex.us. Once this is complete just schedule a visit by clicking the Schedule A Visit link and follow the instructions on the page. They must log in at least 5 minutes before the visit. At the time of the visit the computer, tablet or phone will ring to notify an incoming call. Click Accept and begin the call.

Video Visitation is monitored by staff. Inappropriate behavior including nudity, foul language, and illegal/criminal activity will not be tolerated and the visitation will be shut down if this is observed. The same rules as an onsite visit apply.

If you are using a mobile devise it is recommended that you stay in one location during the visit. You run the risk of signal drop or losing your signal all together which will cut off the visit.

The cost for the visitor is 40 cents per minute or $8.00 for 20 minutes. They can pay with any major credit card.

The Chatham County Sheriff’s office has partnered with Montgomery Technology Incorporated to provide this service.
