Out of Town Visitation
An out of town visitor defined as one who travels from a distance of greater
than one hundred and fifty (150) miles outside of Savannah, Georgia. 1. Visitors
from out of town must present a valid identification containing the same general
requirements as regular visitation. No more than two (2) Out of Town visits may
be approved within a given week (Sunday through Saturday) and may occur
according to the following scheduled hours. For those having received an
approved out of town visitation, a forty-five (45) minute visitation period will
be given. 2. A visitor may visit only once per day. The exception: Those
visitors with immediate family members ( blood relationships ); ( 2-sons,
2-daughters, or a combination of the two, a husband and son or wife and daughter
or combination of these, or mother and father ) may visit both on the same given
day
